At Frydenbø, we prioritize building strong relationships with our customers and partners, and last week was a perfect example of this in action. Together with Vegsund Slip and Finnøy Fiskeriselskap, we visited the Anglo Belgian Corporation factory (ABC) in Ghent, Belgium

This visit marked a step forward in our collaboration. Finnøy Fiskeriselskap recently acquired a state-of-the-art engine from Anglo Belgian Corporation, tailored to meet their operational needs and enhance their vessel's performance.

During the factory tour, we had the privilege of witnessing the precision and craftsmanship behind ABC’s renowned engines. The visit provided invaluable insights into the technology and expertise that go into every engine, reaffirming why ABC is a trusted partner for the maritime industry. It was also a great opportunity to strengthen the collaboration between Frydenbø, Vegsund Slip, and Finnøy Fiskeriselskap.

##### ABC Engines for Fishing Vessels

For more than 100 years ABC has been supplying engines to fishermen. The expertise they have accumulated over the years enables them to offer reliable solutions for fishing vessels sailing at sea for days, weeks and even months in a row.

The characteristic, high reliability of ABC engines ensures a safe investment. ABC engines are built with continuous operation, low fuel and lube oil consumption and long maintenance intervals in mind. Moreover, our robust engines easily and quickly develop power during difficult and critical moments.

A high swept volume, a low brake mean effective pressure (BMEP), a mechanical injection system, low consumption, increasing torque at decreasing engine speed and low maintenance intervals are some of the important features of the ABC engines in fishing vessels. Their efficient engines can also operate on different types of fuel and fuel qualities meeting the applicable emission regulations around the globe.

ABC engines are developed for maximum uptime and designed for easy and simple maintenance and overhauls. Uncomplicated access to engine parts and low noise levels provide a more efficient workspace. Because of its excellent performance and smooth operation, ABC engines are recommended by fishermen worldwide.
