Frydenbø Maritime Industries has signed a partnership agreement with Sjostal in Iceland. The agreement marks an important step in our commitment to the Icelandic market, and gives customers on the island better access to both products and expertise from Frydenbø.
Frydenbø Maritime Industries' roots go back to 1916, when AS Frydenbø Slip og Mek. Værksted was established in Damsgårdsveien in Bergen. With Karl Gjøvaag as manager, two slipways were built, focusing on the repair of fishing boats in the Bergen region.
